Robert Don Peterson

Mr. Robert Don Peterson of Halifax passed away December 10, 2015. He was born in Jackson County, MO. on November 2, 1939 and he was 76 years old.  He was the child of the late F. Ben Peterson and the late Zella Margaret Walker Peterson. He was married to Lucille Marie Cormier Peterson who survives.   He was a retired Sr. Chief Navy RMSC of 26 years, and served in the Vietnam Era. After his military retirement, he worked 15 years at the Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth, VA. Following his retirement there, he worked at the Virginian Pilot.  Mr.Robert Don Peterson is survived by: His Wife Lucille Peterson of Halifax, VA Two Daughters Robin P. Penley and husband Richard of Chesapeake, VA Dana Peterson Potenza and husband Piero of Halifax, VA Two Sons James William Peterson and wife Geraldine of Keswick, VA Donald Ernest Peterson of Norfolk, VA Four Grandchildren Two Sisters and Two Brothers   ***Preceded in death by*** His Parents F.
