Joyce Earline Marshall

Mrs. Joyce Earline Witt Marshall of Halifax passed away November 24, 2015. She was born in Danville, VA on April 25, 1935 and she was 80 years old.  She was the daughter of the late Napoleon Dave Witt and the late Ada Fink Witt. She was also married to the late Robert Edward Marshall, Jr.   She was of the Baptist faith and retired from the Halifax County School System as a cafeteria employee.   Mrs. Joyce Earline Witt Marshall is survived by: One Daughter Tammy Marshall of Halifax, VA One Son Michael Marshall and wife Peggy of Halifax, VA Three Grandchildren David Marshall and wife Lindsey of Georgia Joshua Marshall and wife Nicole of Halifax, VA Robert Marshall of Halifax, VA Two Great Grandchildren Seth Marshall Belah Bruno   ***Preceded in death by*** Her Parents Napoleon Dave Witt and Ada Fink Witt Her Husband Robert Edward Marshall, Jr. One Sister Edith Williamson   Funeral service will be held Friday, November 27, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Powell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dwayne Caldwell officiating. Burial will follow at Halifax Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service and other times at the home of her daughter, 3208 Mountain Road, Halifax, VA   For memorials please consider a charity of your choice.
