Mary Clark Morris

Mrs. Mary Clark Morris of South Boston, VA passed away Saturday, November 21, 2015 at her home. She was born in Halifax County, VA on April 17, 1923 and was 92 years old. She was the daughter of the late William Morton Clark and the late Carrie Gravitt Clark and was married to the late Keith Wilson Morris.   She was a member of the Black Walnut Baptist Church and retired from Burlington Industries.   Mrs. Mary Clark Morris is survived by: Two Sons Ernest Franklin Morris of South Boston Keith Wayne Morris and wife Linda of South Boston One Daughter Mary Linda M. Green of South Boston Three Grandchildren Donna Green Lewis and husband Allen of Vernon Hill Keith Wayne Morris, Jr. and wife Kristie of Alton Jeffrey Wilson Morris and wife Annette of Chatham, VA Eight Great Grandchildren Amber Lynn Clark, Destiney Leigh Hall, Hayley Morris, Savannah Morris, Kayleigh Morris, Kendra Morris, Kolby Morris and Keegan Morris ***Preceded in death by*** Five brothers and three sisters Son-in-law, Carlton Wayne “Bill” Green Daughter-in-law, Sylvia Morris   Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Don Bryant officiating. Burial will follow in the Black Walnut Baptist Church Cemetery.   The family will receive friends Monday, November 23, 2015 from 7:00 until 8:30 P.M. at Powell Funeral Home and other times at her home, 4238 Old Cluster Springs Rd., South Boston, VA.   For memorials please consider a charity of your choice. ??
