Velma Fisher

Mrs. Velma Brown Fisher of Nathalie, VA passed away November 19, 2015. She was born in Pittsylvania County, VA on February 24, 1939 and was 76 years old.  She was the daughter of the late Richard Thornton Brown and the late Ellen Davis Brown. She was married to Howard Eugene “Gene” Fisher. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Republican Grove and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Liberty Volunteer Fire Department.   Mrs. Velma B. Fisher is survived by: Her Husband Howard Eugene “Gene” Fisher of Nathalie, VA One Daughter Rhonda Dawson Lloyd and husband Arnie of South Boston, VA Three Sons Randy E. Fisher of Nathalie, VA Anthony Newman “Tony” Fisher and wife Janet of Nathalie, VA Timothy W. Fisher and special friend Leslie Martin of Nathalie, VA Six Grandchildren Two Great Grandchildren One Sister Nancy Angel of Gladys, VA Two Brothers Ricky Brown of Halifax, VA Bobby Brown of Nathalie, VA   ***Preceded in death by*** Her Parents Richard Thornton Brown and Ellen Davis Brown One Sister Eva Brown Chappell One Brother Buford Brown   Graveside service will be held Sunday, November 22, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Liberty Christian Church Cemetery with the Rev.
