Miss Emily Kay Rudder of Halifax County passed away November 13, 2015. She was born in Halifax County, VA on February 24, 1984 and was 31 years old. She was the daughter of the late Ernest L. Rudder Funeral service will be held Monday, November 16, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at Ash Avenue Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Paul D. Larrimore officiating. Burial will follow in the Oakland Cemetery, Scottsburg, VA. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service and other times at the home of her mother, 3110 East Hyco Road, South Boston, VA.
