Judith Ann Shearin Overby

Mrs. Judith Ann Shearin Overby of Scottsburg, VA passed away on Friday, November 6, 2015 in Clarksville, VA. She was born in Durham, NC on November 17, 1941 and was 73 years old. She was the daughter of the late Clifton Aaron Shearin and Sarah Inez Baker Shearin Talley and was married to the late Raymond Rogers Overby. She was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Survivors include: One son Clifton Overby of Scottsburg Three daughters Connie Overby Rossman and husband Thomas of Lakeland, FL Cynthia Ann Overby of South Boston, VA Wendy Rogers and husband Dirial of Mechanicsville,VA Five grandchildren Eric Rice, Sarah Wilkins, Isabella Martin, Raiden Rogers and Rhiannon Rogers Five great grandchildren A memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at 2:00 PM Burial will follow at the Cremation Garden at Halifax Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Powell Funeral Home Monday evening from 6-8:00 PM and other times at her home in Scottsburg.
