Frances Walton

Mrs. Frances Davis Walton of 590 Mt. Tabor Road, Vernon Hill, VA, age 80 passed away November 2, 2015 at Woodview Nursing Home, after a six week decline in health. Mrs. Walton lived her entire life at Vernon Hill where she was a home maker and member of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church. On December 24, 1953 she was married to William Thomas Walton who survives. Mrs. Frances D. Walton is also survived by one son, Michael B. Walton and wife Carol of Keeling, VA, one sister Cecile Owen and husband Robert of Collinsville, VA. Mrs. Frances Walton is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at 2:00P.M. at Powell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Carl Burger officiating. Burial will follow in Halifax Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service and other times at her home 590 Mt. Tabor Road, Vernon Hill, VA.
