William Lewis Wilborn

Mr. William Lewis Wilborn Sr. of Boxwood Road, Nathalie, VA passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at his home. He was born in Halifax County on May 12, 1940 and was 75 years old. He was the son of the late John Thomas Wilborn and Elizabeth Seamster Wilborn and was married to the late Rachel Womack Wilborn. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Millstone and was a former employee of Buruss Lumber in Brookneal. Survivors include: Two daughters Rachel W. Smith of Yanceyville, NC Amy W. Glascock and husband Paul of Nathalie, VA Two sons William L. Wilborn Jr. and wife Mary of Pamplin, VA Gregory A. Wilborn of Nathalie, VA Three sisters Nancy Ann W. Walker of Red House, VA Frances W. King of Nathalie, VA Mary W. Hancock of Nathalie, VA Two brothers Robert Wilborn of Nathalie, VA Clyde Wilborn of Clays Mill, VA Five grandchildren Robert Smith of Lynchburg, VA Brittney Woods of Wylliesburg, VA Jordan Glascock of Nathalie, VA Lane Glascock of Nathalie, VA Mikayla Wilborn of Pamplin, VA One great grandchild Camen Woods of Wylliesburg Also preceded in death by one sister, Annie W. Switzer and two brothers, Jack Wilborn and Thomas Wilborn. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12, 2015 at 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Millstone with Rev. Kris Cook and Rev. LeRoy Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at First Baptist Church of Millstone on Monday for one hour prior to the service and other times at his home.
