Nora Lee Martin Franklin

Mrs. Nora Martin Franklin of Scottsburg, VA passed away Saturday, September 26, 2015 at the home of her son in Charlottesville, VA. She was born June 21, 1921 in Halifax County, VA and was 94 years old. She was the daughter of the late Henry Thomas Martin and the late Mary Francis Martin. She was married to the late Henry Otis Franklin. She was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church. Mrs. Nora Martin Franklin is survived by: One Daughter Barbara Coates and husband Lewis of Ivor, VA Two Sons Jerry Franklin and wife Verna of Dyke, VA Danny Franklin and wife Phyllis of Scottsburg, VA Seven Grandchildren James Franklin, Danny Gene Franklin, Jr., Joyce Cavey, Roxanne Loyd, Penny Lacks, Wanda Faison and Brenda Brisson Seven Great Grandchildren Two Great-Great Grandchildren Preceeded in Death By: Her Parents Henry Thomas Martin and Mary Francis Martin Her Husband Henry Otis Franklin Two Sons Ronald Otis Franklin and Dennis Franklin One Daughter Joyce Ann Franklin Four Brothers Jessie Edgar Martin, Henry Clyde Martin, Robert Martin and Letcher Thomas Martin Four Sisters Hester M.
