Cledis Tuck Jones

Mrs. Cledis Tuck Jones of Halifax, VA passed away September 21, 2015. She was born on August 30, 1941 in Pittsylvania County, VA. She was 74 years old. She was the daughter of the late Herman Tuck and the late Lucy Epps Tuck. She was married to the late James Howard "Jim" Jones, Jr. She was of the Baptist faith, and a retired employee of Wal-Mart. Mrs. Cledis T. Jones is survived by: Three Daughters Tina L. Jones and friend John W. Layne of Long Island, VA Brenda Womack of Halifax, VA Kimberly J. Brenner and husband James of Scottsburg, VA Five Grandsons Eric Jones of South Boston, VA Jay Womack of Scottsburg, VA Adam Womack of Halifax, VA James Brenner, III of Scottsburg, VA Robert W. Layne of Long Island, VA Two Brothers Curtis Tuck of Danville, VA Carl Tuck and wife Betty of Danville, VA Number of Nieces and Nephews Funeral service will be held Thursday, September 24, 2015 at 11:00A.M. at Powell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike McDowell officiating. Burial will follow at Halifax Memorial Gardens.
