Roger Orin Eudy

Mr. Roger Orin Eudy of South Boston, VA and formerly of Clover, passed away Saturday, September 19, 2015 at his home. He was born in Clover, VA on January 15, 1931 and was 84 years old. He was the son of the late Orin Eustace Eudy and Bettie Throckmorton Eudy and was married to Margaret Winora Cole Eudy who survives. He was a member of Union United Methodist Church, was a retired tobacco farmer, and was an avid bicyclist and endurance athlete. Survivors include: His wife Margaret Winora Cole Eudy of the home Two daughters Suzanne E. Wallace and husband Joe Platzke of South Boston, VA Rosemary E. Reese and husband Jay of Scottsburg, VA Three sisters Norma E. Haden of Emerald Isle, NC Betty Ann E. Glass of Nathalie, VA Sarah E. Brown of Nathalie, VA Two grandchildren Trey Reese and wife Erin of Nathalie Cameron Reese of Scottsburg He was also preceded in death by a sister, Thelma E. Osborne A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at 11:00 AM at union United Methodist Church with Rev. Tony Johnson officiating. A reception will immediately follow the service in the church fellowship hall.
