Henry Bailey Cook

Mr. Henry Bailey Cook of Halifax, VA passed away Thursday, August 20, 2015 at his home surrounded by his wife and daughters. He was born November 19, 1938 in Halifax County, VA, and was 76 years old. He was the Son of the late Lawrence Cook and the late Ethel Jennings Cook. He was retired tobacco and cattle farmer, and was a member of Ellis Creek Baptist Church. Mr. Henry Bailey Cook is survived by: His Wife of 55 years Brenda Hudgins Cook of the home Four Daughters Patty Cook Hancock and husband Daryl of Scottsburg Deborah Cook Rouse and husband Steve of Elmo Jo Cook Powell and husband Curtis of Nathalie Donna Cook Dunn and husband Billy of South Boston One Sister Mary Cook Saunders of Nathalie Eleven Grandchildren Eleven Great Grandchildren Funeral services will be held, Saturday, August 22, 2015 at 11 A.M. at Ellis Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Dib Mills and Daryl Hancock officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
