Bruce Elliott McCormick

Bruce Elliott McCormick of Lynchburg, Virginia died on August 5, 2015. He was 69 years of age and the son of Charles L. McCormick, Jr. and Ann Mahoney McCormick. He was Senior Master at Virginia Episcopal School having taught there for 46 years. Mr. McCormick is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Charles L. McCormick III and Nancy Fray McCormick of Halifax Virginia. He was predeceased by his brother, Walter F. McCormick. Also surviving are nephews Charles L. McCormick IV of Raleigh, North Carolina and William Fray McCormick (Margaret) of Columbus, Georgia, a great-niece, Mary B. McCormick, and great-nephews, William F. McCormick, Jr. and Charles L. McCormick V. He was a member of Saint Paul's Episcopal Church in Lynchburg where he was a choir member and a former Senior Warden. A memorial service will be held at St. Paul's Episcopal Church on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at 2:00 PM. There will be a visitation at St. Paul's on Monday, August 10, 2015 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.
