Mrs. Dorothy Frances Allen Crews of Nathalie, VA passed away Monday, August 3, 2015 at her home. She was born June 21, 1916 in Campbell County, VA, and was 99 years old. She was the daughter of the late John Thomas Allen and the late Katie Elliott Allen. She was married to the late Meade Nelson Crews. She was a member of the Ellis Creek Baptist Church. Mrs. Dorothy Frances Allen Crews is survived by: Two sons Thomas Crews and wife JoAnne of South Boston, VA Kenneth N. Crews of Nathalie, VA Three Grandchildren Robin Crews Barrett and husband Bill of Myrtle Beach, SC Anne Meade Supernaw and husband Tim of Raleigh, NC Connie Crews Snead and husband Michael of Clover, VA Seven Great Grandchildren One Great Great Grandson A number of Nieces and Nephews Preceeded in death by: Two brothers Otis and Ellis Allen Two Sisters Myrtle Cabaniss and Ayre Paulette Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at 2P.M. at Ellis Creek Baptist Church with Rev. W.D. Mills and Rev. Jack Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Ellis Creek Baptist Church, and other times at the homes of Kenneth Crews, 3115 Clarkton Rd Nathalie, VA and Tom Crews, 3200 North Main Street South Boston, VA.
