Mrs. Nellie Louise Blanks Martin Crowe of South Boston, VA passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at the Sentara Halifax Regional Hospital. She was born April 17, 1939 in Halifax County, VA and was 76 years old. She was the daughter of the late Joel T. Blanks and Virgie Mae B. Blanks She was a member of the Black Walnut Baptist Church Mrs. Nellie Louise Blanks Martin is survived by: One Son Danny Martin and fiancée Carol Puryear of South Boston One Grandson Daniel Wayne Martin of South Boston One Brother David N. Blanks and wife Patricia of Yanceyville, NC A number of nieces and nephews Beloved pet Jake Allen A funeral service will be held Saturday, August 1, 2015, at Powell Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00P.M. with Rev. Don Bryant officiating. Burial will follow at First Baptist Church of Millstone.
