Russell "Rusty" Eugene Campbell, Jr.

Mr. Russell Eugene (Rusty) Campbell, Jr. of Virgilina, VA passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2015 at the Sentara Halifax Regional Hospital. He was born August 3, 1945 in Richmond, VA and was 69 years old. He was the son of the late Russell Eugene Campbell, Sr. and Dorothy Davis Campbell. He was a member of Union Christian Church in Virgilina. VA. He worked for the city of Raleigh as a gardener for thirty five years. Mr. Russell (Rusty) Eugene Campbell is survived by: Two Sisters Kit C. Hooper of Virgilina, VA Luanna Bowen of Topsail Beach, NC Two Nieces Kirke Hooper & children Nathaniel & Hannah Kirke Molly (Eric) Bull & son Henry Funeral services will be held at Union Christian Church, Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at 11:00 A. M. with the Rev. Norman Talley officiating. Burial will follow in the Virgilina Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Powell Funeral Home, Tuesday, July 14 from 7:00 to 8:00 P.
