Arthur Loftis Gravitt

Mr. Arthur Loftis "Crow" Gravitt of East Hyco Road, South Boston, VA passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2015 at Sentara Meadowview Terrace in Clarksville. He was born in Halifax County, VA on January 28, 1935 and was 80 years old. He was the son of the late Hustler Addison Gravitt and Bertha Gravitt and was married to the late Mary Ann Wall Gravitt. He was a member of Shady Grove United Methodist Church, was a retired bus driver from Tourtime, and was a US Army veteran. Survivors include: One son Richard Craig Gravitt and wife Melanie of South Boston One granddaughter Madison Mitchell of Nathalie One brother William Gravitt and wife Mary Francis of Richmond One sister Betty Ann Drury of Georgia One sister-in-law Bessie Gravitt of South Boston Preceded in death by two brothers Lloyd Gravitt and Hustler Gravitt Jr. A graveside service will be held Friday, July 3, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Shady Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery.
