Irmgard Gertrud Pritchard

Ms. Irmgard Gertrud Pritchard of Scottsburg, Virginia died Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at Sentara Halifax Regional Hospital. She was born in Berlin, Germany, August 13, 1938 and was 76 years of age. She was the daughter of the late Gretrud Becker. Ms. Pritchard was a member of the South Boston Lions Club and was a volunteer with the Halifax County Humane Society, and was retired from Becker Furniture of which she was the founder in 1990, owner and operator. She was known for her compassion and dedication to others in their time of need. Ms. Irmgard Gertrud Pritchard is survived by: One Daughter Christina P. Wilborn of Halifax One Son Heinz L. Pritchard & wife Brenda of South Boston Two Grandchildren Matthew Wilborn of Halifax Kristy Nash & husband Kory of South Boston One Great-Grandchild Landen Wilborn of Halifax ***Preceded in death by Three Brothers, Karl Becker, Heinz Becker and Niko Becker A Graveside Service for Ms. Irmgard Gertrud Pritchard will be held at Halifax Memorial Gardens, Sunday, June 28, 2015 at 2:00 P. M. with Nathan Good officiating. The family will receive friends at Powell Funeral Home for one hour prior to the service and other times at the home of her son, Heinz & Brenda Pritchard, 5003 Quail Roast Road, South Boston, Virginia.
