Janelle Jackson Hudson

Mrs. Janelle Jackson Hudson of Halifax, Virginia died Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at Novant Health Brunswick Medical Center in Shallotte, NC. She was in born Halifax County, Virginia September 18, 1936 and was 78 years of age. She was the daughter of the late James Franklin Jackson and Doris Thomas Jackson and was married to the late Clarence Filmore "Hac" Hudson. Mrs. Hudson was a very active member of the McKendree United Methodist Church. She was a retired school teacher having worked with Project Head Start. Mrs. Janelle Jackson Hudson is survived by: One Daughter Lydia Hudson Dunkailo of Smithfield, VA One Son "Fil" Hudson, Jr. & wife Tammy W. of Leland, NC One Grandson Nicholas Filmore Hudson of Leland, NC One Granddaughter Jorja S. Hudson of Leland, NC Granddog & Grandcats Son's Dog, Dexter & Daughter's, Cats Maxie & Moxie One Brother Danny Jackson & wife Connie of Alton,VA Nephew, Chad Jackson Niece, Megan Jackson Krauklis Best Friends, Mabel Hudson, Ruth Riddle and Linda King Funeral Services for Mrs. Janelle Jackson Hudson will be held at McKendree United Methodist Church, Saturday, June 13, 2015 at 2:00 P. M. with the Rev. James Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church for one hour prior to the service.
