Peggy Whitt Gravett

Mrs. Peggy Whitt Gravett of Danville, VA and formerly of Halifax County, VA, passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at Roman Eagle Nursing Home. She was born in Halifax County, VA on January 28, 1926 and was 89 years old. She was the daughter of the late General Lee Whitt and Myrtle Wilmouth Whitt and was married to the late Albert K. Gravett. She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Danville. Survivors include a daughter Sharon G. Marks and husband Thomas of Memphis, TN. She was the last surviving member of 10 siblings. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 2,2015at 2:00 PM at the Oak Ridge Cemetery in South Boston, VA with Rev. Charles Wickham officiating.
