Mrs. Betty Jane Trent Beadles of Drakes Branch, Virginia died Thursday, May 21, 2015 at her home. She was born in Halifax County, Virginia March 1, 1930 and was 85 years of age. She was the daughter of the late Riggs Walker Trent and Betty Jane Francis Trent and was married to the late Owen Lacy Beadles. Mrs. Beadles was a member of Clover Bottom Baptist Church. Mrs. Betty Jane Trent Beadles is survived by: Two Sons Larry Wayne Beadles, Sr. & wife Melinda of Nathalie Roy Riggs Beadles & fiance Wanda Lee Newcomb of Vernon Hill Grandchildren Christina Mayes Anita Beadles & fiance Sherry Roberts Tonya Beadles Larry Beadles, Jr. & fiance Brittany Pair Amanda Beadles & fiance Shawn Beavers Jennifer Beadles & fiance Mark Brown Tammy Beadles Nine Great Grandchildren Best Friends, Sylvia Thompson, Lisa Clay **Preceded in death by Two brothers, Claude Spinerson Trent & Riggs Trent One Son, Herbert Lacy Beadles A Graveside Service for Mrs. Betty Jane Trent Beadles will be held at Catawba Baptist Church Cemetery, Sunday, May 24, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. with the Rev. Chris Sorensen officiating. The family will receive friends at Powell Funeral Home, Saturday, from 7-8 P.M.
