Esther Florine Smith Cassada

Mrs. Esther Florine Smith Cassada of South Boston, VA passed away Sunday, April 26, 2015 at the Sentara Halifax Regional Hospital. She was born June 8, 1933 in Mecklenburg County, VA and was 81 years old. She was the daughter of the late Floyd Smith and the late Minnie Susan Seamster Smith and was married to the late Paul Schoolfield Cassada. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Mrs. Florine Cassada is survived by: One Daughter Shelia C. Bohanon and husband Jerry of South Boston, VA One Granddaughter Roxanne R. Rice and husband Mark of Virgilina, VA Two Great Grandchildren Austin Rice and Brittani Rice ***Preceded in death by*** Three brothers, Raymond Smith, Vernon Smith and Floyd Elwood Seamster Two sisters, Annie Dix and Mary Davis Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 28, 2015at 2:00 P.M. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with the President Alan James officiating. Burial will follow in the Hazelwood Family Cemetery, Clover, VA.
