Hattie Cole Warren

Mrs. Hattie Cole Warren of Alton, VA passed away Friday, April 24, 2015 at her home. She was born April 16, 1923 in Halifax County, VA and was 92 years old. She was the daughter of the late Arthur Chappell Cole and the late Mamie Wilborn Cole and was married to the late Dabney Berks Warren, Jr. She was a member of the Harmony United Methodist Church where in past years she had taught Sunday School and was member of the U.M.W. Mrs. Hattie Warren is survived by: Two Daughters Lanier Warren Moore and husband Elmer Cole of South Boston Dale Warren Bates and fiancé Randy Smith of South Boston One Grandson Charles "ChucK" Bates V and wife Mandy of South Boston One Great Granddaughter Maylee Bates of South Boston One Sister Florence Yarboro of Roxboro, NC One Brother Dandy Cole and wife Linda of Roxboro, NC ***Preceded in death by*** Five sisters, Nannie Talley, Mary Long, Melissie Carter, Ruby Tuck and Elsie Cole Two brothers, Arthur Cole, Robert F. Cole and two infant brothers Funeral services will be held Monday, April 27, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at the Harmony United Methodist Church with the Rev. Bonnie Pizzeck and the Rev. Norman Talley officiating.
