Mrs. Violet Link Deal of South Boston, VA passed away Friday, April 10, 2015 at her home. She was born February 2, 1945 in Halifax County, VA and was 70 years old. She was the daughter of the late William Henry Link, Sr., and the late Elizabeth Rogers Link and was married to Jay Lee Deal, who survives. She was member of the True Light Baptist Church. Mrs. Violet Link Deal is survived by: Her Husband Jay Lee Deal of South Boston, VA One Step-Son Tony Deal and wife Judy of Virgilina Five Grandchildren Blake Deal, Josh Deal, Brandy Inscore, Jonathan Jordan and Sarah Jordan Three Brothers Ernest Link and wife Margaret of South Boston Bruce Link and wife Margaret of South Boston Emmitt Link of South Boston ***Preceded in death by*** One son, Christopher David Deal One step daughter, Pricilla Jordan One step-granddaughter, Samantha Jordan Two brothers, W.H. Link, Jr. and Bernice Link Memorial services will be held Sunday, April 12, 2015 at 3:00 P.M. at the True Light Baptist Church with the Rev. Greg Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in the Cedar Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the True Light Baptist Church and other times at her home, 2073 Link-Puryear Rd., South Boston, VA 24592.
