Ira Merritt Ray

Mr. Ira Merritt Ray of Buffalo Junction, VA passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2015 at his home. He was born in Halifax County, VA on April 14, 1932 and was 82 years old. He was the son of the late Kermit Ray and Margaret Gravitt Ray and was married to Myrtle Sadler Ray who survives. He was retired from Burlington Industries. Survivors include: His wife Myrtle Sadler Ray of Buffalo Junction Two step-daughters Mary P. Talbott and husband Curtis of South Boston Kitty P. Wagstaff and husband Bobby of Halifax One brother Douglas Ray and wife Evelyn of South Boston One sister Diane Ray Conner and husband Ronnie of Burlington, NC Six step-grandchildren Six step-great grandchildren Per his request, there will be no services.
