Beauford Coleman Shelton

Mr. Beauford Coleman Shelton of Scottsburg, VA passed away Thursday, March 19, 2015 at the Sentara Woodview. He was born in Pittsylvania County, VA on January 12, 1946 and was 69 years old. He was the son of the late Maurice S. Shelton Sr. and the late Edna Brumfield Shelton and was married to the late Jean Powell Shelton. Mr. Beauford Coleman Shelton is survived by: Two Daughters Sandra McCormick and husband Danny of Scottsburg Sheena Powell of Danville Two brothers Donald L. Shelton and wife Joyce of Gretna Maurice S. Shelton Jr. and wife Alice of Gretna 10 grandchildren 11 great grandchildren 6 nieces and 1 nephew He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Powell Shelton, one daughter, Glenda Odum, and one son, Wayne Francisco. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the McCormick Family Cemetery at Scottsburg with Rev. Don Bryant officiating.
