Jessie Willard Satterfield, Jr.

Mr. Jessie Willard Satterfield, Jr. of Alton, VA passed away Saturday, March 14, 2015 at his home. He was born April 27, 1939 in Halifax County, VA and was 75 years old. He was the son of the late Jessie Willard Satterfield, Sr. and the late Lillian Frances Long Satterfield and was married to the late Evelyn Satterfield. He was a member of the Mt. Carmel Presbyterian Church and was retired from RTP. Mr. Jessie Willard Satterfield, Jr. is survived by: Three Daughters Terrie Carol Lantor and husband John of Halifax, VA Vicky S. Oakley and husband Scotty of Roxboro, NC Heather Satterfield and spouse Denise of Durham, NC Two Grandchildren Lauren and Austin Oakley of Roxboro, NC One Brother Ray Satterfield and wife Faye of South Boston, VA Preceded in death by: One brother, Al Satterfield Graveside services will be held at Mt. Carmel Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. with the Rev. Dan Ward officiating. The family will receive friends at his home, 1213 Solomon Rd., Alton, VA.
