Julia Tuggle Hickson

Mrs. Julia Tuggle Hickson of Liberty Road, Nathalie, Virginia died Sunday, February 22, 2015 at her home. She was born in Campbell County, Virginia June 28,1931, the daughter of the late Burnice Chester Tuggle and Mary Martin Tuggle and was married to the late Frederick Mason "Ted" Hickson. Mrs. Hickson was a member of the First Baptist Church of Millstone. Mrs. Hickson is survived by Three Daughters Polly H. Pena & husband Adrian of Nathalie Susan H. Painter of Troutville Jackie H. Dillard & husband Artie of Danville Two Sisters Linda Lester of Nathalie Irene Ridgeway of Nathalie One Brother Lester Tuggle of Nathalie Six Grandchildren Joshua, Matthew & Jeremy Pena of Nathalie Christopher Dillard of Danville Heather Angle of Roanoke Tyler Painter of Radford Two Great-Grandchildren Bryce & Baylee Angle **Preceded in death by two sisters and four brothers Funeral Service for Mrs. Julia Tuggle Hickson will be held at Powell Funeral Home Chapel Wednesday, February 25 2015 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Don Bryant officiating. Burial will follow in the First Baptist Church of Millstone Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday at Powell Funeral Home for one hour prior to the service and other times at her home.
