Doris Hogan Brizendine Thompson

Mrs. Doris Hogan Thompson of Halifax, VA passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at her home. She was born February 20, 1931 in Halifax County, VA and was 83 years old. She was the daughter of the late Harvey Cleveland Hogan and the late Lanie Torian Hogan. She was married to the late Jessie Edward Brizendine. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Millstone. Mrs. Doris Hogan Thompson is survived by: Two Sons Bobby Edward Brizendine of South Boston Danny Ray Brizendine & wife Debra of Halifax Three Daughters Linda Louise Waller & husband Phillip of Nathalie Brenda Gayle Womack of Halifax Pamela Brizendine Vernon & fiance Jerry Short of Halifax Six Grandchildren A number of great grandchildren ***Preceded in death by*** One Grandson, Johnny Wayne Womack Three Sisters, Elsie Daniel, Louise Meyers and Dorothy Ridgeway Two brothers, Willie Hogan and Robert Lee Hogan One Son-in-law, Johnny Wayne Womack, Sr. Funeral services will be held at the First Baptist Church of Millstone, Sunday, February 8, 2015 at 3:00 P.M. with the Rev. T. Wayne Daniels and the Rev. Ricky Whitlow officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
