Lula Womack Daniel

Mrs. Lula Womack Daniel of Vernon Hill, VA passed away Monday February 2, 2015 at the Chatham Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born July 24, 1925 in Halifax County, VA and was 89 years old. She was the daughter of the late Hurley Womack and the late Bessie Nash Womack and was married to the late Stover Bernard Daniel. She was a member of the Oak Level Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Lula Womack Daniel is survived by: One Daughter Barbara Shelton and husband Willard of Blairs, VA Two Sons Randy Daniel of Ringgold, VA Dennis Daniel of Mooresville, NC Two grandchildren, Jeff Daniel, Beth Bryan and Cheyenne Jones Two great grandchildren, Trey and Rebekah Byron One Sister Carolyn Perkins of Vernon Hill Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 7, 2015 at 3:30 P.M. at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ed Melvin officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Powell Funeral Home and other times at the home of her daughter Barbara & Willard Shelton, 3533 Snakepath Road, Blairs, Virginia.
