Lucille Crews Coates Jennings

Mrs. Lucille Crews Coates Jennings of Nathalie, Virginia passed away Sunday, January 18, 2015 at Halifax Regional Hospital. She was born in Halifax County, Virginia August 7, 1928 and was 86 years of age. She was the daughter of the late William Crews and Nannie Beadles Crews and was married first to the late Barkley T. Coates then to the late Charlie W. Jennings. Mrs. Jennings was a member of Ellis Creek Baptist Church. Mrs. Lucille Crews Coates Jennings is survived by: One Son Teddy Ray Coates & wife Mary Ann of Halifax One Daughter Marilyn C. Mann & husband Jimmy of Nathalie One Step-Son Joey Jennings & wife Faye of Rustburg Four step-grandhchildren 7 step great-grandchildren ***She was preceded in death by One Step-Son, Jimmy Jennings A Graveside Service for Mrs. Lucille Crews Coates Jennings will be held Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at 2:00 P. M. at Childrey Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. W. D. Mills officiating. The family will receive friends at the home of her son, Teddy Ray Coates, 2143 L.P. Bailey Hwy, Halifax, VA 24558.
