Michael Lee Elliott

Mr. Michael Lee Elliott of Highland Hills Drive, Halifax, VA passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at his home. He was born January 25, 1951 in Clover, VA and was 63 years old. He was the son of the late Rufus Lee Elliott and Virginia Farrar Elliott and was married to Amy Throckmorton Elliott who survives. He attended McCanless Memorial United Methodist Church, was retired from ABB, was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam Era, was a member of American Legion Post 8, and VFW Post 8243. Survivors include: His wife Amy T. Elliott of Halifax One daughter Tonya Michelle Elliott of South Boston One son Adrian Dax Elliott and wife Carisa of South Boston His step-mother Sally Ingram Elliott of Grassy Creek, NC One sister Debbie E. Claiborne of Halifax Three half- sisters Lisa Cates of Rougemont, NC Patti Elliott of Oxford, NC Gina Elliott of Huntersville, NC Two step-sisters Judy Boyd of Bullock, NC Joan Rogers of Timberlake, NC Four grandchildren Alex Elliott, Jaxson Elliott, Callie Snyder, and Chloe Clay A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Powell Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.
