Irene Pruett Ingram

Mrs. Irene Pruett Ingram of Sutherlin, VA passed away Friday, January 9, 2015 at The Woodview. She was born in Paces, VA on March 13, 1926 and was 88 years old. She was the daughter of the late Cornelius Jefferson Pruett and Virginia May Cook Pruett and was married to the late Hillis E. Ingram. She was a member of Mercy Seat Presbyterian Church and was a long time employee of JP Stevens. Survivors include: One son Randy A. Ingram of Sutherlin Two daughters Vicky I. Cliborne and husband Jimmy of Halifax Faye I. Hankins and husband Sam of Crystal Beach, FL One grandson Spencer Clarke Hankins of Crystal Beach, FL Her twin sister Virginia Pruett Dalton of Danville She was preceded in death by one brother, Roy Hampton Pruett of Paces and one sister, Lillie Pruett Ivey of Salem, AL A funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 11, 2015 at 3:00 PM at Mercy Seat Presbyterian Church with Rev. Dr. Ed Melvin officiating. Burial will follow at Berry Hill Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Mercy Seat Presbyterian Church for one hour prior to the service.
