Carl William "Billy" Brinkmeyer

Carl William "Billy" Brinkmeyer died unexpectedly at Woodview Nursing Home on the 22nd of December 2014 in South Boston, Virginia at the age of 87. Billy is survived by children, Richard & Eileen Howard of Florida; Carl Jr & Cindy Brinkmeyer, of Tennessee; George & Orine Bisesi of Maryland; Florence Brinkmeyer of Kentucky; Carol Brinkmeyer of Maryland; 7 grandchildren and 10 greatgrandchildren; also sibling, Sonny & Theresa Brinkmeyer of Maryland. He is preceded in death by wife Eva Blanks Brinkmeyer of Virginia; Parents, Edwin & Frances Brinkmeyer, Siblings; Edwin, Kenny, Orine Spieker, Barbara Stone, Marie Smith, and Buddy Brinkmeyer. A stepdaughter,Norma Jean Dix also preceded him in death. Billy was born on July 4, 1927 in Baltimore, Maryland to Edwin & Frances (Clark) Brinkmeyer. He married in 1952. In 1989 moved to South Boston, Virginia. Over the years he had 5 children. Billy's children remember his sense of humor,caring nature, and his encouragement for them to pursue happiness and family relationships. Billy was a generous individual who loved everyone and who was passionate about helping others. Billy was a Army Air Corps Private in World War II. The family would like to thank Woodview Staff for their care, and dedication to his care.
