William Lewis Irby

Mr. William Lewis Irby of Nathalie, VA passed away on Friday, Dec ember 26, 2014 at his home. He was born in Halifax County on September 17, 1933 and was 81 years old. He was the son of the late James R. Irby and Susie Crews Irby and was married to the late Gracie Epperson. He was a retired truck driver. Survivors include: Step-sons Phillip Clay of Red House Glenn Clay of Gladys Danny Clay of Lynchburg Randy Clay of Lynchburg Step-daughters Mavis Finney of Danville Margaret Reagan of South Boston Connie Glass of Bedford One sister Margaret Peade of Colonial Heights One brother James Edward Irby and wife Elsie of Clarkesville A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 29, 2014 at 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Republican Grove Cemetery with Rev. Donnie Glass officiating. The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall for 1 hour prior to the service.
