Mrs. Betty Jane Dalton Crews of Nathalie, VA died Saturday, December 20 2014 at the Berry Hill Health and Rehab. She was born in Halifax County on March 19, 1936 and was 78 years old. She was the daughter of the late William Henry Dalton and the late Rosa Dawson Dalton and was married to the late Willie Marshall Crews. She was a member of the Childrey Baptist Church. Mrs. Betty Jane Dalton Crews is survived by: Two Grandsons Daniel Crews of South Boston Michael Crews of Nathalie Two Great Grandchildren Briana Crews and Jaxon Crews One Step-Daughter Jeannette Crews Hamlett of Appomattox, VA One Step-Son Kenneth Crews of Nathalie One sister, Inez Dalton A number of nieces and nephews Preceded in death by: One son, Michael Leon Crews Six sisters and two brothers Funeral services will be held Monday, December 22, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at the Childrey Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry Stanfield officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Childrey Baptist Church and other times at the home of Michael Crews, 1041 State Shed Rd., Nathalie, VA.
