Terry Lynn Hodnett Crews

Mrs. Terry Lynn Hodnett Crews of Danville, VA and formerly of South Boston, VA passed away suddenly on December 14, 2014. She was born in Halifax County on August 7, 1973 and was 41 years old. She was the daughter of the late Hubert Thomas Hodnett and Deborah Redd McKinney and was a CNA and caretaker. Survivors include: One son Lewis Phillip Crews III and his father, Lewis Phillip "Bug" Crews Jr., both of South Boston Her mother Deborah Redd McKinney and husband Addie of South Boston One sister Patricia H. Rice and husband Andy of South Boston One half-brother Joseph Macon Hodnett and wife Sherry of Callands A number of nieces and nephews She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Clarence and Melissa Redd and her father, Hubert Thomas Hodnett A memorial service will be held at Powell Funeral Home on Thursday, December 18, 2014 at 7:00 P.M. with Rev. Don Bryant officiating. The family will receive friends at Powell Funeral Home one hour prior to the service and other times at the home of her mother, 806 Berry Hill Road, South Boston, VA.
