Mrs. Roberta Jane Gilliam Berg of South Boston, Virginia died Thursday, December 4, 2014 at Halifax Regional Hospital. She was born in South Boston, Virginia, December 2, 1936 and was 78 years of age. She was the daughter of the late Robert Lee Gilliam and Louise Tate Gilliam and was married to the late Sherwin Louis Berg. Mrs. Berg attended First Baptist Church, South Boston. Mrs. Roberta Jane Gilliam Berg is survived by: One Daughter Anne Criner of Clunes, New South Wales, Australia One Son David Berg & wife Diana of Philadelphia, PA Four Grandchildren Erin Maureen Berg of Rochester, NY Ian Michael Berg of Philadelphia, PA Elizabeth Criner of Sydney, Australia Robert Criner of Munich, Germany Two Brothers Tommy Gilliam of Roxboro, NC Gerry Gilliam of South, Boston, VA ***Preceded in death by a sister, Mary Lou Gilliam Wessels A Graveside Service for Mrs. Roberta Jane Gilliam Berg will be held Monday December 8, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
