He was born in Halifax County, Virginia, December 28, 1952 and was 61 years of age. He is survived by his parents William R. Womack, Sr. and Bertha Lacks Womack of Vernon Hill, Virginia. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Forlines Womack. Mr. Womack was of the Methodist Faith. He was a Sgt. with the Department of Corrections in the State of North Carolina.
