Ms. Joyce Lloyd Carr of Clover, Virginia died Thursday, November 20, 2014 at her home. She was born August 5, 1943 in Halifax County (Clover), Virginia and was 71 years of age. She was the daughter of the late LeRoy Lloyd and Florence Harper Lloyd Wilmouth. Ms. Carr was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and attended Willow Oak Christian Church. Ms. Joyce Lloyd Carr is survived by: Two Sons Kenny Carr & wife Lynn of Cluster Springs Mark Carr & wife Teresa of South Boston Three Brothers LeRoy (Skeeter) Lloyd & wife Betty Sue of Mount Laurel Clyde Lloyd & wife Bonnie of South Boston Donnie Lloyd of Alabama Three Sisters Alice L. Rudder & husband Donald of Cluster Springs Carol L. Conner & husband Mike of Scottsburg Patricia (Tootie) Rhodes & husband Dusty of Mount Laurel Four Grandchildren Jake, Jordan, Rylee & Ky Carr A number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends Funeral Services for Ms. Joyce Lloyd Carr will be held Sunday, November 23, 2014 at 2:00 P. M. at Bethel Baptist Church with the Rev. Mike Haskett and the Rev. Aubrey Heath officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 7-8:30 P. M. at Powell Funeral Home and other times at her home 1085 Three Forks Trail, Clover,Virginia.
