Anita Danna Trice

Mrs. Anita Danna Trice of South Boston, VA passed away on Sunday, November 2, 2014 at her home. She was born in West Monroe, LA, on November 11, 1926 and was 87 years old. She was the daughter of the late Jerome Danna and Angela Fiducia Danna and was married to the late Lt. Col. Edward Jackson Trice Jr. She was of the Roman Catholic Faith and was a retired elementary school teacher with the Halifax County School System. Survivors include: One daughter Ruth Trice of White Hall, VA Two sisters Susan Danna of San Antonio, TX Cecille Buckley of San Antonio, TX Three brothers Gregory Danna of San Antonio, TX Dr. Lawrence Danna of West Monroe, LA VF Danna of West Monroe, LA A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Powell Funeral Home Chapel at 12:00 Noon with Rev. Michael Wetherington officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Powell Funeral Home for one hour prior to the service.
