Mrs. Linda Conner Anderson of South Boston, VA died Friday, August 01, 2014 at the Halifax Regional Hospital. She was born June 11, 1952 in Halifax County, VA and was 62 years old. She was the daughter of the late Robert Estes Conner and married to Archie Anderson, who survives. Mrs. Linda Conner Anderson is survived by: Her Husband Archie Anderson of South Boston Two Daughters Belinda A. Puryear and husband Mitchell of Alton Barbara A. Newby and husband Charles of Halifax One Sister Margie Conner Lacks of South Boston Three Grandchildren Zachary Jackson of Halifax Kassiti Jackson of Halifax Laura Galyean of Rocky Mount, VA Two Step- Grandchildren Haley Newby of Halifax Charlie Newby of South Boston Two Great Grandchildren Lillian and Koda Galyean ***Preceded in death by*** One son, Mark Mitchell Anderson One great grandson, Logan Galyean Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 3, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Steven G. Dyer. Burial will follow in the Oak Ridge Cemetery.
