Lois Inez Clark

Ms. Lois Inez Clark went to Heaven Sunday June 29, 2014. She was the daughter of A.B. and Flossie Clark, and was a life-long resident of Halifax County. Ms. Clark was a member of the Dan River Baptist Church, where for several years she served as the Senior Men's Sunday school teacher. Her career was in retail sales, primarily at J.J. Newberry and McCrory Stores in South Boston, retiring as Store Manager. Ms. Clark is survived by one brother, Berkley Clark; numerous nieces and nephews and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; by sisters, Elease Childrey, Hazel Lovelace, Elva Alexander; and bothers Earl G. Clark and Harry W. Clark Funeral services for Ms. Clark will be held Thursday, July 10, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at Dan River Baptist Church with the Rev. Doug Gibson officiating. Burial will follow in the Church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
