Henrietta Estelle Perkins Elliott

Mrs. Henrietta Estelle Perkins Elliott of Halifax passed away Sunday, July 06, 2014 at the home of her daughter. She was born in Halifax County on May 25, 1943 and was 71 years old. She was the daughter of the late Jeff Perkins and Lizzie Conner Perkins and was married to the late John Kelly Elliott. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Christian Church. Survivors include: Three daughters Janice Jones and husband Bobby of Macon, GA Lisa Marsh and husband Bobby of South Boston Susan Stanbery of Lynchburg Former son-in-law Fred Stanbery of Lynchburg One sister Nancy Conner of Vernon Hill One brother James Perkins of Halifax Five grandchildren Raven Epps, Misty Vaughan, Geoffrey Vaughan, Parker Stanbery , and Peyton Stanbery Four great grandchildren RaShawn Jones, Jakob Jones, Jesse Ingram, and Evan Martinez Preceded in death by sister, Katherine Perkins A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Powell Funeral Home Chapel . Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Christian Church Cemetery. A visitation will be at Powell Funeral Home on Monday evening from 7-8:30 PM and other times at the home of Lisa and Bobby Marsh, 2204 Eastover Drive, South Boston.
