Kim Ivey Hall

Mr. Kim Ivey Hall of Grubby Road, Halifax, VA passed away Saturday, July 5, 2014 at his home. He was born in Cumberland County, NC on November 9, 1954 and was 59 years old. He was the son of the late Curtis S. Hall, Sr. and Elgie Brunson Crews who survives and was a loving husband to Christine Lynn Schirmer Hall. He was a retired Master Electrician with Electrical Maintenance. Survivors include: His wife Christine Schirmer Hall of Halifax His mother Elgie B. Crews of South Boston Six children Taj Jager, Kimberly Stephens, Joshua Hall, Rebecca Hall, Gloria Hall, and Alice Wynn Hall, all of South Boston. Five grandchildren Ivy Jager of Louisville, KY Gabby Jordan, Kaya Jordan, William Powell, and Oliver Forlines, all of South Boston One great grandchild Addison Whitmer of Louisville, KY Two brothers Curtis S. Hall of Calahan, Fl Steven L. Crews of South Boston One sister Sharon Harris of Greensboro, NC A memorial service will be held at Powell Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, July 10, 2014 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Greg Thomas officiating. The family will receive friends at Powell Funeral Home for one hour prior to the service starting at 1:00 PM.
