Sarah Anne Stephens of Alton, Virginia died June 18, 2014 at her home. She was born in Danville, Virginia March 26, 1931 and was 83 years of age. She was the daughter of the late John Fletcher Stephens and Sallie Adams Stephens. Sarah was a member of First Crossroads Baptist Church. Sarah Anne Stephens is survived by Two Nieces Anne Carter Carrington & husband Cabell of South Boston, VA Sallie Stephens Webb & husband Gerry of Knoxville, TN Special Friend Ruby Rhew ***Preceded in death by one niece Elizabeth "Bess" Stephens Funeral Services for Sarah Anne Stephens will be held Monday, June 23, 2014 at 11:00 A. M. at First Crossroads Baptist Church with the Rev. Dan Ward officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church for one hour prior to the service.
