Mr. Charlie "Scrummy" Davis Snead, Sr. of Clover, Virginia died June 18, 2014 at his home. He was born in Halifax County, Virginia April 3, 1923 and was 91 years of age. He was the son of the late Jack Snead and Pearl Snead and was married to the late Pauline Rebecca Rickman. Mr. Snead was a member of Mount Laurel United Methodist Church. Mr. Charlie "Scrummy" Davis Snead, Sr. is survived by: Three Daughters Annette Casen & husband Otis of Mount Laurel Frances Roller & husband Ronnie of Mount Laurel Connie Day & husband Mike of South Boston, VA Two Sons Charlie D. Snead, Jr. of Mount Laurel Michael D. M. with the Rev. Don Pizzeck officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will visit with friends at the Mount Laurel United Methodist Church Friday from 7-8:30 P. M.
