Mr. Steven Michael Watts of Scottsburg, VA died Thursday, June 12, 2014 at his home. He was born in Halifax County on August 30 1962 and was 51 years old. He was the son of Samuel Dewey Watts and Geraldine Martin Watts and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. Survivors include: His parents Dewey and Geraldine Watts of Scottsburg One daughter Erika Danielle Holt of Halifax One sister Judy Atkinson of Scottsburg One nephew Samuel Cory Atkinson and wife Beth of Alton A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Norman Talley conducting the service. The family will receive friends at the home of Dewey and Geraldine Watts, 1061 Burton Road, Scottsburg.
