Miss Janice Faye Mitchell of Halifax, Virginia died Friday, June 13, 2014 at her home. She was born in Halifax County, Virginia, April 8, 1947 and was 67 years of age. She was the daughter of the late Garland R. Mitchell and Irene Hamlett Mitchell. Miss Mitchell was a member of Providence Presbyterian Church. Miss Janice Faye Mitchell is survived by: One Brother Ray Leonard Mitchell, Sr. of Nathalie, VA Five Sisters Margaret M. Epps of Vernon Hill, VA Christine M. Fallen of Nathalie, VA Mary M. Harris of Nathalie, VA Carolyn M. Midkiff & husband Jimmy of Halifax, VA Diana M. Fallen Funeral Services for Miss Janice Faye Mitchell will be held at Providence Presbyterian Church Sunday, June 15, 2014 at 3:00 P. M. with the Rev. Dennis Hoblitz officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church for one hour prior to the services and other times at her home 1090 Woodbourne Road, Halifax, VA.
