Mr. Dennis Harlan Snead died Saturday, June 7, 2014 in Concord, North Carolina. He was born in Halifax County, Virginia on March 25, 1958 and was 56 years old. He was the son of the late Otis Bowie Snead, Jr and Violet Ebbert Snead, who survives. He was a member of Thomas Roads Baptist Church. Mr. Dennis Snead is survived by: His Wife Angela Dunn Snead of South Boston Four Sons Rommie Dennis Hudson of Lynchburg Michael Dennis Snead and wife Sheila of South Boston Brandon Kyle Snead of South Boston Harlan Dale Snead of South Boston Five Grandchildren Brianna Rauser, Matthew Dylan Hudson, Andrew Dennis Hudson, James Blake Snead and Hayden Michael Snead Two Brothers Cecil Darius Snead and wife Rachel of South Boston Dan Lloyd Snead and wife Gwynn Paige of South Boston Funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at 11:00 A.m at Powell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mark Thomas and the Rev. Leon Barton officiating. Burial will take place at Oakland Cemetery in Scottsburg, Va.
